Join Maestro Giancarlo Monsalve for an intensive and transformative vocal retreat in beautiful Tuscany, Italy.
Learn the principles, lifechanging secrets and traditions of the great Old School of Singing®. This exclusive masterclass offers singers the opportunity to study the technical foundations and artistic principles passed down through some of the most influential schools in vocal history, including the traditions of Manuel García, Arturo Melocchi, and Ettore Campogalliani.
These schools helped shape legendary artists such as Luciano Pavarotti, Renata Tebaldi, Franco Corelli, Mario Del Monaco, Mirella Freni, and many other great singers whose voices continue to inspire generations.
Throughout the retreat, participants will work directly with Maestro Giancarlo Monsalve on the essential elements of vocal technique, mechanics, breath support, registration, resonance, projection, and repertoire. The goal is not only to improve the voice, but to build a stronger technical foundation that can serve a singer for a lifetime.
Every participant will receive two personal sessions per day, for a total of 10 individual sessions with Maestro Monsalve. In addition, singers will benefit from observing all other lessons, creating a unique environment of continuous learning and artistic growth.
An accomplished pianist and repetiteur, with experience working in major opera houses, will be present throughout the masterclass and included in all sessions.
All lessons will be professionally video recorded, allowing participants to review and continue their work long after the retreat has concluded.

Maestro Monsalve Leyton and his team would like to hear your vocal quality through a simple audio file. This is not an audition, but it is essential for us to understand where you are standing technically at the moment. The most important aspect of your application is your natural raw voice material, while the technique is something we can work on together, following The Old School of Singing Techniques and Training.
If you do not have performances videos or Audio material, a simple vocalization of 30 seconds up to 2 minutes is enough as a first step with us.
